Is this the correct ball stud bracket for a big block A body?

boy it sure looks like the one i had on my 67 barracuda with a 426 max wedge and four speed, one thing though, i welded the slip hole shut, as mine had either too much torque, or i didnt use enough locktite on the bolts! Kinda left me stranded at the starting line!

Yes, and there should be a brace on the other side as well.

dont have any pics anymore, i did that car in 1978, i had elephant ears, milled the wp, housing, got everything lined up, and went 9.93 @129 mph in the 1/4, god that car was fun! Just like yours 413 punched to 426, 13.8 comp, stage 3 cly heads, 588/310 racer brown, factory 64 max wedge crossram, A833, 5:13 gears, i wish i never got rid of it, but being young watta gonna do, right?
