Bracket for tranny tube??

I have a 727/360 Dart Sport. Is there supposed to be a bracket of some sort that holds the tranny dip stick tube in place? Mine just kinda sits in there with nothing holding it. The aftermarket ones I have seen have a tab on the tube itself for mounting. Thanks

Yes is bolts to a bellhousing bolt and is spot welded to the tube. You can improvise with a worm or "U" clamp and some strap....

Thought there had to be something. I didnt see evidence of any weld on the tube I have though. Not sure if its original. Thank you.
