Bucket seat compatibility

Maybe someone could help me out here. I read that 1970 E body bucket seats and A body bucket seats are the same except for the covers is this true? And if not can the E body seat with factory tracks bolt into A body directly or are modifications needed.

Yes 1970 340 swinger, I am considering going with 1970 e-body seat.

Seat tracks are different between A body and E body

I think you will find the foams are different as are the listing wire spacings. If you don't plan on recovering them with '70 Dart covers and you have A body tracks then you should be fine IMHO.
