Hoping someone can answer this, because I'm not finding a definitive answer.. Is there a difference with the seatbelts in a bench seat car vs a bucket seat car...and if so, what are the differences...?

On a bench seat, the inner halves (that anchor to the trans tunnel) are longer so they can thread up through the seat and still be accessible through the entire range of seat adjustment. The ones for buckets are shorter and align more along the inside edge of the seat, since they would always remain accessible.
You could probably use bench belts with bucket seats, but probably not bucket belts with a bench.

Thanks for that info... So, they ALL bolt in at the same spots, right..?

I think some of the inner buckles had a plastic cover for bucket seat cars, too. This kept the buckle in about the right place rather than falling under the seat or something. No idea on length, but I know you couldn't use the plastic cover with a bench.

I am almost certain they all bolt into the same spot though.

I pulled out my bench and am using bucket seats, I kept the original belts in place and they work great...
I got lucky and found a donor car that had the shoulder belts to compliment the lap belts so I just unbolted the belts in the center and added the extra belts for the shoulder belts no issues

They are different. If you use bench retractor style on buckets they interfere with the lever on the seat. The tracks are the same left to right on buckets so they push in opposite direction for release. Notice the location of the lever from side to side
