C-body 11in rear drums to A-body 8.75 Questions..

I am converting my A-body 8.75 to 4.50 bolt pattern using yukon axles. I plan to use 11in rear drums from a C-body.

My question is... Was there more then one style of rear drum back plates used on C-body or can I use either width of shoe and drum? I found a shoe near what was left of a 68 Fury III, the shoe width was 2.5

If anyone can direct me to a good thread regarding this swap please post or any advise is appreciated.

They also had 11x2'' rear drums.You will have to match drums and backing plates when looking.I had a 72 Dodge Monaco with the 2'' rear shoes.
