basically what happened is they decided to make the entire conference "virtual"
meaning there will be no live lectures and no interaction with others, so there really is no point in driving out 800 miles just to sit in a hotel room and watch some stuff online

we can do that in the comfort of our own home

you guys get to pay double

clearly, you came in under budget when purchasing the car, so you got funds to blow or the next budget will be way smaller
