What is your experience? The reviews are all the same, mostly satisfactory but always some who are dissatisfied. I want to affix some cheap grade artificial turf onto a newly tiled entryway and not have it slip all over the place. Brand names mentioned in the article that I am posting below are: xFasten, kraftex, Duck, Melaca, and Mighty X.

you mean for throw rugs, not for actual carpet, right?

In my case, it is going to be a patch of astroturf (that green stuff) over the new tile to protect it and keep in "new" (for awhile anyway) because this is the covered entryway to the house where there may be a lot of dirty traffic (an area of about six by eight feet).

Would that 3M wall hanger do-hickey tape work? I know it'll hold some pretty heavy pics. And it will come off of the wall cleanly.

If you want it where you can take it up for cleaning and such, get some velcro tape.

Sounds to me like you're making your dog a **** pad right in front of the door.
Touchdown contact cement, 5 points , only on tile face , not grout.
Done.
You can clean it of with mineral spirits later.
That's from 20 years in the flooring business.
Otherwise ...buy grout cleaner, every 6 months clean it.
