Is there any alternative to buying a molded carpet? Such as buying yards of automotive carpet. Looking for a better lower cost option.

You would need to do a lot of cutting and sewing to make up the angles of the floor pan.

I don't know how cheap you want to go but the trade off from prefab and do it your self are about the same. you can by to fit after market for reasonable ,shop around and price compare.
