Hi!

I am still trying to figure out how to hook up the 3-port charcoal canister. The original 2bbl carb is long gone and an Edelbrock AVS2 took its place.

Purge port goes to ???
Fuel tank goes to gas tank vent line.
Carb bowl port goes to ???

Purge would go to a manifold vacuum port and you would cap off the carb bowl port in this case. Carburetor vent is only open at idle when a carburetor has a bowl vent for vapor recovery, and the AVS2 isn't equipped with a bowl vent for E-Vap control.

Thanks!

I read ported or manifold vacuum. I guess i doesn’t really matter.
I also read this:

If it does not have that valve you need to purchase a separate one NAPA Echlin #2-28011. Run a hose from the purge port on the canister, to the purge valve, and then tee the purge valve into the PCV line. The small fitting on the top of the purge valve you need to tee into the vacuum advance line.
