So a friend bought a "71" cuda yesterday. It has a stroke 440 like a 496 or something like that. So we go for a drive to pick up another car that he has and he said you want to drive this minivan looking thing back to my shop for me? I laughed and said no I want to drive the Cuda back and he was like okay no problem and threw me the keys! He was told it was a 10.3 second car in the quarter mile, we're going down to the track tonight to find out. It sure felt like it was

I'm #394 and that was his very first pass he's taken in that car. When he caught me mid track, he just toyed with me. It's around a 10.3 car. I mean you just don't trailer a car up from California to drive out to the local track and try and get it to do its best time, that's not smart he's just feeling the car out. Now we can talk about that reaction time of mine? It wasn't my best of the night either.

One more time slip from last night. You can really see he's playing with me here, but also he likes to keep his true capabilities to him self for other reasons. And once again you can see why I'm very pleased with my R/T's.

Oh I'm fine. He had to stop early because of loose header bolts and getting an exhaust leak. I'm right where I want to be just putting gas in it and racing and not coming home and fixing anything. But I will check my spark plugs and tighten bolts as always.

No but I got a good one. My buddies friend put his Mustang in the wetbox and then backed up or something and had it in reverse and started doing a burnout in reverse!! LOL And he got a signal from the box attendant pointing his finger head and said no that way LOL and then later when were trying to fix my buddies headers he came over and was telling my buddy he was turning the wrench the wrong way?and there was my opportunity to tell him well that's better than doing a burn off the wrong way! LOL and he was like "oh man" you seen that LOL!
