Can a white top be redyed white?
On a vinyl top that does not move perhaps a "paint" might work but on a convert top I'm thinking some form of dye would be best.Wouldn't you use red vinyl paint
This, 100%. If there has ever been any conditioner applied to the top, you will play hell trying to get an even dye, even after cleaning it. More than likely it will become a botched job and you will be buying a new top. Products like Armor All will not allow the dye to soak into the fabric, no matter how long ago it was applied.Just remember before dying the top that it has to be extremely "clean". Once you think you are there, clean it two more times. Be sure to scrub around all of the seams and fasteners to root out any dirt.
That's what I was thinking. If only "dying" and not dead would a shock or CPR help or is it too late for even those? My condolences
