Not quite sure I understand your question. Are you saying your using front disc brake setup on a 8.25" rear??? If so I'd sure like to see how you did that.

It is something you need to measure on every single car because none of them are the same.

What car? What size rim? What tires?

The "right" backspace can be anywhere from 4" to 6.5" depending on the car, rim, and tire.
