Cragar s/s torque specs

Does anybody know what the lug nuts should be torqued to? I got 15" Cragar s/s on my '65 barracuda.

I torque all my custom wheels to 85 foot pounds. I believe that is what a tire store would tell you as well.

The instruction sheet that came in the box with mine sez 65lbs then re-torque after 50 miles......

i think you need to know what the wheel stud size is, 7/16" is 60 foot lbs, 1/2" might be 75 or so not sure. but its the streach of the stud when you torque it down that holds the rims on.

Hey, Thanks for all of your replies. I heard it was 65 ft/lbs for a 7/16 stud. It just sounded a little low. I needed some reassurance.
