FABO fans: Anyone ever seen factory cruise control on a 1974 Duster?Dart?Valiant? Is it possible to use it on the factory one barrel Holley 1945 carb? Anyone have a complete setup for sale? Thanks! BOB

AFAIK most Mopar CC even into the late 1980's is an "easy" swap into a 60's or 70's car.

Other than the 2 piece cable length (which are available and cheap at rockauto), the only part that is different is the diaphragm mount for the fender area but that can be made to fit.
(on a 74 you may even see dimples for a factory location.

One part that rarely gets taken from a donor vehicle is the secondary control cable mount on the top of the carb throttle bracket. It's a small "U" profile part secured by a tiny roll pin. You almost HAVE to bend it to get it off, but that';s not a terrible issue.

For most of the 70's the stalk was standard. But early ones are different, rare and expensive.
Late ones are multi-funtion dimmer switches as well.
