I've got a brand new set of Small block A body Heddman Hustler 1" 7/8 headers. My question is, Since I really don't want to cut holes in the fenderwell for one tube each side, could a custom header maker use a good amount of these headers and save me some money? Or is this just wishful thinking? It seems like someone could use the flanges at least. Any thoughts? Thx, Kevin

Are you planning on doing this yourself?

Yes, there is probably enough bends in those headers to make it work.

I would not expect a fabricator to want to do it this way, as they probably have access to loose mandrel bends, which would be easier to work with.

If you intend to do it, a fender well set of headers has a lot of tubing, and would be a great start, especially with the flanges and collectors.

I would not do it myself. I was hoping a fabricator could use the materials. I guess the main cost is probably the labor huh?

I'd sell the husslers to someone that could use them and start from scratch.

Labor will DEFINITELY be the biggest part of your bill.
