hi i have a 72 duster 318 mild cam aluminum intake edelbrock 600 cfm carb headers and accel points to electronic conversion kit. My egine runs fine and smooth until 4000 rpms then it starts cutting out and stumbling. any ideas?

It sounds like its running out of fuel, take the top part of the carb off and check where the float levels are. If not that then the jetting may be not 100% right or the carb could be due for a rebuild and a good cleaning. Hope this helps.
