D100 pull my Duster?

So I have a 84 D100 Slant 6 with the 4-speed OD. If I used an Aluminum car hauler, and put the Duster on there, could the Slanty pull it a couple hundred miles? I believe I have 3:55 gears in the rear. I has an upgraded hitch on it. Opinions?

Well.. glad you asked. We've made it to page 5 of how it'll go without it going yet.. it's like watching a YouTube video of how to be a tow truck driver while using your golf cart.. you really won't know till you try it

Just saw a 1960 photo of George Bignotti towing the Roadster AJ Foyt drove for him, on an open trailer, with a 1960 Pontiac wagon and the roadster is bigger than the trailer. See Macs Motor City Garage for many more.

You don't have Passenger car rated tires, do you. I'd want "D" rated tires, at least, for any towing. "E" rating is much easier to find, but they ride like Rocks! Pass rated tires inadequate & dangerous!

Didn't go yet, and I changed direction. I'm going to try and drive the Duster there (4 hrs.) instead. Been prepping it, but still some things to do.

Sounds like might be better off towing the d100 behind the duster
