Dart Sport hood treatment

Coming along real well on the Dart Sport. Should be ready to start painting by this week end. Trying to figure out what to do about the hood. It had black stripes,but I don't think they were right. Does someone have a picture of what the hood treatment for a '73 Dart Sport with snorkel scoop should look like? Also thinking of just going with a blackout hood. Thoughts anyone.

Here's a pic of my 73 340 Dart Sport with the correct hood treatment. I purchased my stripes from Phoenix Graphics. The cowl vent area of the stripe does not come with the kit, so it will have to be painted on.
