So, today I am in Lowes, and I am thinking about buying just this Dewalt Oscillating Multi-Tool tool by its self since I already have many 20V batteries. $199.00

Since I knew there are always better deals to had on the internet I waited until I got home to do some research.

I get home and find this Dewalt deal at Lowes.

DEWALT XR 20-volt Max Cordless Brushless 3-speed 6 -Piece Oscillating Multi-Tool with Soft ( 1 -Batteries Included and Charger Included ) for $99 good through 1/7/26

They claim they had none in my area, but I could get it shipped to me for $5.99

So, for the tool kit, shipping and sales tax the whole deal cost me $112.34

What a smoking good deal.

Have one I bought last year during the holiday sale. Less than $100. The killer though, is the price of blades for it. Love the scraper blades though. They do a pretty good job cleaning up gasket surfaces.

I inherited an older 110V Fein(the original tool of this type IIRC)14 years ago and have hardly used it. Got a scraper blade for it, when I saw one, as I knew it would be very handy.

I have a corded version (Sonicrafter by Bosche?) that I used extensively when I replaced all the carpet in our house with a heavy laminate flooring. I used a scrap piece of flooring as a thickness guide and set the blade on it and moved right along the door jambs and baseboards to fit the flooring underneath.
I rented a door jamb saw once and this worked much better.
I have used it to cut PVC pipe also.

I have that tool. All I buy is DeWalt. It really works great.

I’m a big Milwaukee tool fan. I have one of their oscillating multi-tools. Surprised how often I use it, and yes the blades are expensive!

Get your blades on amazon. Hate to say it.
Much cheaper and about as good as the stuff you get a depot etc.
When you have a stack of blades you'll probably use your multi tool more.
