Do these upgrades work?

Anyone tried these parts?

They offer increased drum brake performance. I'd like to swap to discs but, here in the UK the junk yards are full of Fiats and VWs!

I haven't used them personally, but I do remember an article that was in either Hot Rod or CarCraft about 10 years ago that said that their stuff worked really well. If I remember correctly, they got huge decreases in stopping distances. But remember that was a long time ago.
