UPDATE! After pulling half of the rear interior apart and having the Inspector coming to my house to look at it a second time, and not finding another number, I finally got the call today that they are going to recognize the factory VIN. It will be a few days before I can talk to him but he did say that he happy with what he saw. At least there is a chance I can still get the car out a few times before the snow fly's around here!! Thanks for all the responses.
