I'm restoring a very early (Sep 66 build) '67 Dart GT. I replaced one of the doors with a good used door (from a '68 we thought) and it fit nicely. But as we were working on the interior, we noted some significant differences... in the pressing of the interior panel itself, but more motably in the position of the lock.
In my '67, the door lock as at the very end of the door. In this replcement door, the lock is about 2/3 of the way back. In looking at pictures of cars (even other 67's), all I'm seeing are the locks like my replacement door has more forward on the doors.
When did the lock position move?
Thanks!
Bill
