Door Panel Backing Material, needed looking for a source

I have to repair all the interior door panels on my Lancer. Anyone have a source for the hard backer board? I want to make mine, replace the whiskers, before I take them to the upholsterer.

I bought mine from an upholstery shop for like $10. It was enough to do both doors.

I used abs plasic sheets comes in different thicknesses

Back when I did my RR, I just used hardboard from the local hardware store. It comes in 4x8 sheets.

The standard hardboard that you can get at a lumberyard, is typically 1/8" thick. The auto manufacturers used 1/10" thick. that is the basic difference. Just make sure you get "standard", not "tempered".
