ok guys and gals, help me out here. where is the TO+DO spot for repalcing the drivers front floor pan.
Q. how does the pan that covers the wires that run from front from back end come off?. it bends easy but can see any screws or is it spot welded on??

Q. is the floor pan spot welded to the support beam that runs from the rocker panel over to the hump or just sitting on it?

Q. the car has air. how hard is it to replace the heater coil. the car came with a new one in the trunk with the new pan, so i figure the old one needs replaced (no orginal owner info to ask him).

Q. the drivers side hood hinge is still and bows out when you close the hood and rubs the fender where it goes through the fender. do i have to take off the fender or the door to get to it. really think some rust pent. sprayed on then some grease would do the trick but just wondering is there is a best practice out there.

ok thats all for now. waiting for your help.... .. .... ..:clock:

sounds easier than i thought. on the floor pan, i only heed to replace the left side from the rocker about 9 inches over and back to the hump where the seat bolts in. that hump area is ok and where the gas padel etc. so would you do the whole pan or just the left half?

I would replace the piece thats rotted, plus a little extra. Make sure you cut out all the weak area of floor.

ok tks for the info, i replaced it all the way to the hump so the line would not show. came out good. not so hard. a lot easier than a camaro. BOO, GM. BOOooo...
