Driveshaft???

Hello in A-Body world!!!

I have a 67Dart. 360, 904, 7.25 rear end.

I have a A-body 8.75 with a 489 case I am installing.
Instead of the original driveshaft that I would have to cut, I have access to a driveshaft that came out of a 340 727 8.75 car.
My question is, can I use the 340/727 driveshaft?
Is the length right and with the 904 , will the yoke work

The lengths will still be off.

the 727 is longer so the shaft is too short. best to modify and balance the unit you have if the ujoints are the same as the flanged on the new rear end.

Was the driveshaft that came out of the 340/727/8.75 from a Dart or a Duster? The two had differrent wheelbases so that will make a difference too.
