Changing from drum brakes to Kelsey Hayes disc brakes will I need to change the lower A arm or is lower ball joint the same any help appreciated Gary

Here is the answer i got

Ball joint is different because the holes are larger but the lca is the same. I believe the bolts are 9/16 for the KH and yours can be drilled out to work. Double check the bolt size.
You didn't ask but the upper control arm is identical.

If you have the proper disc brake ball joint, it will fit into the lower control arm...
Did it on a 71 Valiant 4 door....
