Who Knows?
OK here goes, I put 73 discs on the front of my 74 swinger and it has a new booster and master cylinder in place. The rear has 11 drums as it has a ford 9" in it. My question is this : Do I need a seperate valve for the rear to stop lock up or what would be the best way to go? I am new at all of this so please be patient!

Are you sure it's a 9" ford and not and 8 3/4? They look the same but different. If you look on the center section (as it sit in the car) on the drive side look for the numbers 741,742, or 489. If it has either of those number is an 8 3/4.

That is a good question as I bought the car after a man had passed away and he was in the middle of the build. He put in a new master and booster and stopped there. I put the discs on the front. I think I will need to put on a new valve for the conversion but I am not sure. I think I will do it anyway just to be safe. So my next question is this: What type and from whom shall I get this from. Do I need one on the rear? I have read so many diff. options that I just want to be safe as this car is for my 17 year old. As for the 9" rear , yes I am sure as I just changed the gears out and did the rear brakes. The car has a stroked 318 with a 727 special and a ford 9". Thanks for all of your help and any additional info would be great. Hemi721x I think I need a new valve as mine was for drums only. Should I go to summit or who?

I can sell you a prop valve with all the lines attached to it, as shown in the picture.
I have a few, that are more than i need for my brake rebuilding.
Send a PM to me.
