Dual V-groove 5 3/4 inch power steering pump pulley.

The flanges were damaged when improperly removed (by the shop) and it set up a vibration that promptly ruined the front bearing seal on the new power steering pump (a Corone unit with a new bracket set up). The part number is 1823056. After hours and hours of searching online, pestering automotive supply and classic suppliers, I located a pulley that is 1/1000th of an inch less than required for the press fit bore and one inch smaller in overall diameter.

The thought is to heat it up a little with a torch before placing it on the shaft.

Otherwise, this part, attached or unattached, to a power steering pump (I would have scavenged the pulley and put the pump back out for sale, here, at a nominal cost) does not appear to exist, even though is was manufactured from 1958 to 1968.

Does anyone have an idea where one might be found, in case this pulley doesn't work out?

Next challenge is that the Six, when started, has an ominous low thumping which I am told are worn crankshaft bearings. The thump goes away after a few seconds. The initial thought is to use 20 - 50 W oil to hopefully buy some more time. Any thoughts?

Yes, it is double grooved. As the bore is 1/1000th of an inch too small the thought was to heat it up a little with a torch, then apply.
