Dukes fans?

As a child couldn't wait till Friday night. To see that Charger tearing up the road and Daisy with those legs. Grrrr! I'll always be a Dukes fan!!

Ah... growing up I NEVER got tired of seeing Daisy on Friday nights. How could any young boy growing up when this show was in it's hey day NOT have a crush on Daisy? And the Chargers were the **** also.

I liked the original show with Tom Wopat and John Schneider. Especially the first two seasons where Daisy had the yellow Road Runner.

I remember watching the first show when it came on. We loved the old Charger and Road Runner. Bo & Luke using bow and arrows with dynamite!!!

Then I saw Catherine Back at a car show here and got a kiss from her - I was in jr high school then, and it made my year. Sure, it was only a peck on the cheek, but how many of you can say that they got a kiss from the original Daisy Duke. Dam, she was hot back then. :love4:

Then got to meet John Schneider at a Mopar Nationals one year when my oldest son was around 4-5 years old and got some pictures with him. He was really cool.

Someone let him drive one of the old Dukes of Hazzard show cars in the burnout contest. Something on the car broke while he was using it, but he followed through afterward to make sure that it got fixed.

He also argued to let the other guy win the burnout contest instead of him. He knew that they picked him because of his celebrity status, but the other guy literally burned the tires off the car until they popped. Part of the winning prize was a set of new tires. John bowed down and asked them to give the first place prize to the other guy as his burnout was better than John's. He tried to be fair, and gained my respect for that.

seems John is a class act.
I remember number years ago, John built some Duke chargers with hemis, which he did to sell. they were very nice cars.
maybe kids today could use some video stuff like the Dukes!????

Just'a good ol' girl
Never meanin' no harm.
Beats all you never saw
Never been in trouble with the law
Since the day she was born

Staightnin' the curves
Flatnin the hills
Someday the mountain might get 'er
But the law never will

Makin' her way
The only way she know how
That's just a little bit more
Than the speed limit will allow.

Makin' her way
The only way she know how
That's just a little bit more
Than the speed limit will allow.

I'm a good ol' girl
You know my momma loves me
But she don't undestand
she keep a postin mopars on fabo instead of watchin TV
