Has anyone ever used the Duplicolor paint shop clear? Sounds like it's pretty good, especially for the price. I think I have seen a gallon for about $20. Im sure comeone here has experince with this type of clear.

No experience.

But we looked into and decided that the color selection was too small, the price is not that good (when you add everything up), and most importantly the we chose to use Urethane over Lacquer. New technology over old.

Its pre mixed (thinner and paint) and "ready to spray". But the thinner they use is total cheap crap. For some small stuff its ok, but I wouldnt use it on a whole car or even anything you want to last. And the $20 price is for a quart of pre-mixed, so its really not even a good deal when all is said and done. IF you do end up using some, mix a little top quality thinner into it, that should help some.
