They are same a manual, and when you say early ae you talking pre 67? I think most of the later once will fit to from I think even up to 72? I am not sure on the 73-76, but I think some guys I read are using some off of mid size trucks too?

You should find one on any /6 in a junk yard.

Are you gonna run dual ehx? If so you need to cut and tweak it too.
