Engine bay painting help

Hi all, I can use a little help. The frame rails below the iner fender,Are they supposed to be black or color of the engine bay

Entire car is body color.

Frame rails got same color as car body. From firewall pinch weld back got whatever flew backwards. So was oversprayed over primer as far as that flew. Except cars that received undercoating

On a side note....the brake lines, gas lines and any hardware (shock washers, etc.) is NOT supposed to be painted.
