anyone have the essex material carpet in there A-body car ? Is it worth the extra money to use instead of the loop carpet ?

Not an A body, but I put the ACC Essex carpet with the Mass backing in a 95 Dakota I had. It was worth the extra money I spent. It was thicker carpet, & it had the sound deadener attached to it. If you get the carpet without the sound deadener, it will be cheaper, but the cost of adding sound deadener yourself, & you should have some, because it will be much quieter in the car, the savings is negligeable. Go for the better stuff if you can swing it. Just my opinion though.
