I'm in the process of putting a shroud on my 22" Champion radiator. This is on a 70 Dart with a 360. The universal shroud I got tapers in the rear so I lost some fan diameter clearances. Was running a 18" mechanical fan but because of the taper I would have to drop to a 16" fan if I didn't want to cut into the top or side of my shroud which I don't want to do. My questions are would a 15" or 16" fan have the cooling capacity? Where do I find one? Things to avoid or look for in a good fan? I want it to stay cool (within reason) idling around town with the air on during a hot Nebraska afternoon. Thanks for any input.
