How about posting the tag for clarification?

Here

The B is under U so that's the upper door frame paint, black.

Buffed paint is an 8 under the B, And only comes on code AA1 silver roof and body.

it's on the tag...LOL
I get 1-10

But what year 67 68 69?

I assume it is 68 by the engine number "52". In 67 it would have to be would be "62" for 383 4bbl. A "52" in 68 is a 340 4bbl.

It's not laid out like a 69 so it must be a 68 GTS OR the tag is mis-punched for a 67.

This is why it is helpful for the OP to include additional info about the vehicle.

Lastly the OP has 67 in his handle Monk67 is that because he is 67 or because he has a 67? Or maybe he just likes the number 67?

So I guess I learned something today

67 and 68 fender tags look the same BUT the SEQ number is 5 digits in 67 and 6 in 68
and in 67 they called out 4 or 5 tires (335 is 5 tires)

Monk .....my childhood nick name
67........graduated in 1967
Car is a '68 Dodge GTS I'm looking into
I'm 75......long in the tooth and proned to screwing up........just ask my wife
Sorry for all the confusion
Lastly I've found out the '68 decoder is much different than '69 but did find this online

file:///C:/Users/Tom/Downloads/Vin%20Decode%208.June.21.pdf

The 68 decoder is a pain in the butt because you have to align the codes properly.

And visually does not work.

Example top line is

Space space 64 space space space space space 7 space space space space space space space space 1

It gets confusing really fast

If you have the vin go to the GTS registry and check if the info is there and matches.

I saw 3 listed as built in 1-10-68
