"I'm a profeshunel"
Behold! A not-great 1974 Scamp. $1300. Pretty basic, three on the tree and 225 slant. Only options on the fender tag were the "big" slant six and the pinstripe.
Came with an OD833 in the trunk, which should pair decently with this Ranger 8.8 I got for $250. No limited slip but 3.73 gearing. All this axle should need is some new spring perches and drums and it'll be good to go.
Got a couple badges for $20 each off marketplace. Got the third off ebay for another $18.
Got some pretty good seats and tracks for $300...
And a slightly less beat to hell '74 grille and these super stock springs for $20 and an RC car.
And yesterday, we finally figured out that the ground cable was the problem, not the three crustiest starters in the world, and got the thing fired for the first time in five years, with gas of the same age. It smelled like it'd be great paint thinner.
(pictures looked fine in preview but won't load in the post.)
