Been trying to get this milodon road race oil pan for quite some time and they were on back order. Finally got one!

Nice! If you had a Chevy, you couldda almost gone to wal mart and bought one.

good luck getting that to clear the K member

if I never buy a milodon part again it will be too soon

Nice! Let us know how she fits. Looks like the one I have on my 408, still on the engine stand...

Are you going to road race or do you just want the added protection?

My car has always been pretty low. The deep sump pan now sits about 4" off the ground. I have killed one in the past with my small block. Will be nice to never worry bout the pan dragging ever again

If the HDK is anything like the AlterKtion it fits with ease. This is the pan the AlterK was designed to be used with. It fits great. You can even install it with the K member in place. It sets 3/4" higher than the crossmember so even if you slammed the K against the ground it wouldn't touch down. I gained 2.5" more ground clearance than the typical big block pan you see most of the guys running.

That pan is a work of art.

I am having one issue with it. The drain plug uses a copper washer for a gasket and it seems to just not want to seal completely. Not sure how tight to make it or change the gasket?

here's a top tip for you! test it with some solvent to make sure it doesn't leak Milodon can't do that anymore in California and only test for leaks with water now. That's why my brand new one leaked when I got it and JB Weld and crap all over it. I'll take it off this winter and send it back to them and they will send me another new one with new gaskets. So I implore you to tested with again some kind of solvent or something for leaks overnight because it hasn't been properly tested. you don't want to be like me and find out it leaks after the motor is back in.
And triple-R that's funny ! And a fact !

That too for me!? so far Milodon has not impressed me and I will most likely get my new one shipped to me this winter or replacement one. it will be for sale brand new ....
