Firewall Insulation: Factory, Aftermarket, or Both?

Does one choose between using the black chipboard/yellow insulation factory type stuff or the aftermarket foil/rubbery stuff (Dynamat, Thermo-tec)? OR if one has them both on hand, double up and install both (one on top of the other)? I need to prepare my strategy this coming week. Thank you.

Factory is what I would do. I had a car that came for repair. Getting that dynamat off to do repairs was next to impossible.
