First car show -- advice??

Cute pup!! You made the right choice. Thanks for caring enough to do something about it. My old girl Lyla had matching white socks.

That's a good looking doggie! I just tried to put myself in her owner's shoes. I would hate to have either of my boys roaming the streets after someone had already had them safe in their garage.

I cant help with classes but yhe best advice is don't worry about what other people think or say about your car. There is always a douchebag who will pick apart everything to feel better about himself.
There is nothing more special then the one you have sitting in your driveway.

Good advice, thanks. Hopefully I'll make the next one, and my plan was to stay mobile for a lot of the show. Walk around and see the other cars. I'm not the most social guy, so I'm not exactly looking forward to just sitting next to my car and talking to hundreds of people stopping to look.

I generally avoid them with my car after I saw my car inadvertently scratched the full 1/4 panel by someones jean jacket button. My car had thin original paint to begin with... This was many years ago with my first Mopar. My car at a show unattended give me PTSD, so I go to them now just to look at other vehicles.

That's definitely a concern. Nobody wants some careless twit to walk by and scratch their car -- trailer queen or rust bucket.
I had someone leaning against my freshly painted car once. I had stepped away from it for a few minutes and came back to find some dickhead leaning on it like it was his. He was very lucky that I didn't take his f'n head off, but I did rip him a new one.

A guy car a car show once had a sign that read "Touch my car and die!".... Then the guy standing near said " Hang on,,, be right back, my wife can't keep her hand off anythjng!" Really!
