Installed my brand new Fitech inline fuel pump today and than said to my self let me make sure it works so put 12v to the pump
and it just clicked so tapped it with a soft rubber hammer with the power to it and it just clicked . Now i know it should run so i said to my self maybe it has some kind
of a switch were it needs to have fuel to it so opened the fuel valve and filled the pump it just clicked So took the pump out and was going to send it back
and tried one more thing i took my air hose with 50psi on it and tried to blow through it and it was like the check valve was stuck and than it popped open
then put 12v back on it and it ran . THE REASON i posted it was because i did see two other people on other brand x forums that had the same trouble and
had no answer for a fix this worked for me and pressures were good . hope this my help some one else .

My brand new one from Fitech was internally shorted, called them up and the replaced it with a new one!

I think I would chunk that beeotch in the trash and get one of them badass Walbro 392 pumps.

Fitech actually answers the phone, a real live person, and they do whatever they can to fix the issue.

The sent me 3 in tank pumps because I kept losing fuel pressure, not even their pump.

Turns out it was the short fuel line included with the kit was efi ethanol rated, but not ethanol submersible rated.

It would swell become like jelly, no clamp could keep it connected.

I called them back, they said keep the pumps.
