[WANTED] floorshift column key release spring

looking for the little spring inside the lower collar on 71 up floorshift columns.that lower one is spring loaded.i can't find them anymore.i'll pay 17.00 for each one you have.also need some 3" power steering couplers.tia,kent

I have complete sets with the spring. You must buy a set. I may have a box of those springs . I bought a collection of thousands of springs I will look next time I have a set of the column covers off. Unless you can send me a picture with a measurement I can look today.

i don't have an original one to take a pic of but this is kinda what it looks like.has those funny bends on one end.i tried to make one out of a hardware store spring but it's too stout.it's about 2" maybe 2 1/2.hope that helps,kent

I can send you the whole column I'll cut it off at the dash if you want so you will get everything. Your in Ga. it will be $95 shipped. I will glass bead the upper column so it will be clean and ready for paint.

Here are pictures of that column cut off and cleaned to bare metal. It is complete and screws and hardware are inside. Yes this is the same column that is pictured it cleaned up real nice.
I would suggest using rust-o-lium self etch primer from auto zone. Being it is stripped to bare metal it will help adhesion .

I disassembled it to clean it and reassembled it but left the lower section with the spring on the column. Everything that you will need to convert yours is there and the steering lock star and dog are inside as is the screws.
