8.75” Chrysler A-body width rearend housing, third member with 3.91 gear ratio, and axles.
This rearend started out as a small bolt pattern, pre-1973. It came with the original axles that were re-drilled to fit 5x4.5” large bolt pattern. I did not want to reuse them so I purchased a set of large bolt pattern axles from Dr. Diff doctordiff.com . The axles are brand new with Green bearings installed.
The differential is a 741 case with 3.91 gear ratio with Sure-Grip. It has been overhauled by San Diego Gear and Axle. They hot tanked it and installed a complete bearing kit. There is a one year warranty on it.
The housing itself has spring perches in the stock location, 43” on center, and the width is stock A-body width at 52 5/8”. It has new housing end studs and new 3rd member studs.
Some other items to note are a new axle housing vent, the brake distribution block and rear brake lines are attached. There is a new pinion snubber attached. This rearend is ready for drums or a disc brake conversion and will bolt up to any Duster, Demon, Dart, Swinger, Valiant, Barracuda Mopar.
ALL the bearings, races, bolts, gaskets, and seals are NEW! Warranty on third member! 5 x 4.5” bolt pattern! I’ve got receipts!
