Hi everyone, I haven't posted to this board before but have been reading it for a while. Very good stuff. I've got a question, I was installing Lokar's throttle cable / kickdown cable kit over the weekend on my 71 Duster w/ 318 & 727. At some point the anti rattle spring/clip dealy came of the gas pedal and I can't figure out how it goes back on (or exactly what it does). Does anyone have a picture or diagram of how it goes back on? Thanks in advance.

I have both the Lokar throttle and kick down cable's on my Dart, although I am having a tough time following your question. Do you need pictures of the gas pedal set up, or of the set up on the carb?

The Lokar stuff actually hooked up fine for the most part, its the the little spring clip thats part of the stock gas pedal. It came off and I can't figure out how it goes back on. Seems to work fine without it though. Factory service manual calls it an anti-rattle spring but doesn't show how it goes on.

I installed the Lokar throttle and kickdown on my dart as well. I don't remember anything on the gas pedal. However mine may be different because it is a 69. If you had a pic or something maybe i could recognize what you are asking
