Just about to tear into my 3310 holley for the renew kit.In the past the blue gaskets came off real easy on outher ones I have rebuilt, but this carb has the old black ones stuck real good.So letssss here your tips on how to remove them, anyone tried soaking them in water over night?

I took my 4779 to my local mechanic's shop on a Saturday and asked if I could run it in his Snap-on drum. No problem, I was told, it's like the agitator on your washing machine and air pressurized. I tore it down and ran all the parts for an hour. It looked almost new after it was rinsed with water, and what little gasket material was left I could scrape off with my finger nails.
