I've practically forced my husband to do the rebuild...Rather let me do it and he assist. He has not done a trans rebuild in over 25 years and has done his best to talk me out of it. But that ain't gonna happen!

We don't have a lot of room in our 2 car garage that has to also store our babies ('66 Charger and '66 Valiant convertible). So, we re-arranged and built an additional work bench with a roof flashing top (stainless steel would have been way too expensive) for easy cleaning.

We start pulling the trans on Wednesday .... I watched a video on rebuilding (Thanks, fishy68) and have the ATSG manual on the way. Wish me luck!!!

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for the transmission forum...LOL!

That is one good looking beer fridge...and a great shirt...and them signs aren't too bad looking either.
Good luck with your rebuild flynlady.

A good sized rinse tub will help if you have one.
Also I saw your post about the clutch spring compressor, and a section of approx 5" PVC pipe works pretty good for a home made one.
You will want to double chk the diameter needed to be sure and if you cut the end of it like a giant valve stem removal tool it works pretty well.
