You could take out he heavy steel bumper inserts and just bolt the chrome bumber back on. Just leave the peice that the bumber shock bolts too and cut out the heavy iron.

fiberglass hood. Aluminum engine parts, headers are lighter then manifolds. Loose the stereo and heater. Remove sound deadners and under coating. Also try just moving things to the back of the car like the batery, ignition box, over flow bottle.
