Good day with both boys in the garage yesterday

So about a year and a half ago, my oldest who is 28, married, and his wife is pregnant with #1 grandson for me..... wound the 408 in his 65 Bcuda up a little too much while putting a Porsche Carerra in its place. Suspect a spun bearing. Car has been berthed in my little 2 car garage since. He has finally made time to make it right. Last Sunday, he got it to the point of ready ro pull. Yesterday I helped him pull the engine, while his brother who is 17 next month, started tearing down the 360 that we are putting in Fred. So yeah, Jake spun #4 main bearing.

I really enjoyed having them both out there and myself doing more watching and suggesting , than actually working. They have grown so much. Haha.

Because pics or it did t happen.... The 408, waiting for the total tear down for the trip to his machinist. And the 125k mile 360 we are refreshing for "Fred". Space is limited.

Working with the kids is great! My son is 20 and my daughter is 16. We all work together sometimes and I love it!

So Jake came over again on Saturday. We finished tearing his 408 down. I Dropped his crank off at the shop for a turn and polish when Josh and I dropped the 360 block off.
Was another good day.

My sons are 41 and 43 now, its always a blessing to see them show up for some project or chit chat, having two gear head sons makes life great.

Here they are about 35 years ago, racing dirt and 1/8 mile back then
