I should be shot for not finishing this old Hurricane Moridira EXB-1 bass.
I played it for a couple years, and I had a friend make the pod cover.
I am a small fellow and fat short fingers and the bass played so easy.:-D
I have owned it for over 15 years.
I have no idea how old it is , But she plays great or did.8)
It has been in a hard case strung up for over four years when I painted and played it. I took the old pods out to replace them and never got back to it.
It has a chrome elution I sprayed on it and 5 cotes of clear I sanded and buffed out.

She is no SNG or a fender,:read2: But a good playing 4 string bass.:-D

Sir #E703540.

this is most likely a low end bass, But if any one here knows anything about it
Chime in and fill me in on what you may or may not know about it.

Some nice wood work from another great friend named Mike.:-D

No, I need two pods to replace the one.s I took out to paint it and they got used somewhere along the line of a son wanting them to check out another guitar and they never made it back home.
I think that is what they are called, Volume control for each pick up.
I think at on time there was a cover for the back string holder's too.
I think its time I get the hot irongun out and get me a pair of volume knobs
And get it playing again. have you ever herd of one of these basses before?

Fooled me....I thought this was a fishing thread. :bootysha:

Mike can you slap and pop that thing.I play every week at church I am definatly a legend in my own mind.Kevin.

No Mike I've never heard of that bass before but that doesn't mean she doesn't play smooth and sound great. Since I don't see a toggle switch and I believe that style of pickup is only one not two, unless you rewired it, you should be looking for a volume and a tone pot. The tone pot should be for the frequency range of the pickup.

I have a few runs and songs in me, and wish I knew more.
I am a drumer and a legend in my own mind when it comes to that.
