So, been working on my oldest son's 70 Duster for 9 months, almost complete, just need to finish putting what we have for the interior back in and then testing it before shipping it to him at Iowa State.

So, my youngest and I bought his project car today, he turns 16 in about 5 months. It's a 92 Z28 with the 5.7 tuned port injection, posi, 700R4 overdrive. Interior and glass is in great condition, and the previous owner did all the body work and put it in high build primer before losing interest. So basically I got a $1300 3D jigsaw puzzle to put together over the next 5 months, but it will be a great learning experience for my son. He's the prototypical geek and doesn't know a wrench from a screwdriver right now, so has a ton to learn.

I know, it's not a Mopar, but being a child of the 80's I've always loved the 3rd gen camaros and it was the kid's choice. I tried to get him in a 70 dart, and looked at a 65 Barracuda, and a 72 Duster. He probably would have went with the Duster except his older brother has one and he wants to be different. If I could have found a 68 Barracuda notch in our budget, he probably would have went with that.

Just thought I'd share. It's not very often that I see my youngest eyes light up like they did today when we were looking over the car.
