OK here is my plan-
79 360 block- already .030" over
SRP 142069 forged pistons - .030" -5cc reliefs
Eagle H beam rods- forged - ARP 7/16" rods bolts
stock crank
ARP main studs with factory windage tray
RHS MagX iron heads - 2.02I/ 1.625E - comp springs - 3/8" stud conversion - 62cc camber
Comp 1.5 RR
MP4120655 flat tappet cam 252/252 @.50" - .557/.557 w/ 1.5 - 110LSA
MP M1 magnum intake
Demon or Holley 750
this combo yields 11.9:1 - 12.4:1 static CR from what I understand that is on the high side for pump gas 91- I could go E85 I suppose but the quality of that fuel changes with the seasons which requires tuning I really don't want to deal with...
Any one got and suggestions to maybe lower the static CR to around 10.5:1 to 11:1??
OK I got the CR down to 11:1 with a cometic .075" head gasket so that is figured out- what you all think of my build??
